Falconry can be defined as the taking of wild game by a trained raptor. This ancient sport/art can be very demanding. Falconry requires a serious dedication of time, energy and a change of lifestyle from the aspiring falconer.

Many of you may have seen a trained Raptor in action. You may have recently read about this ancient art in a newspaper article, magazine or book. You might have witnessed a demonstration or seen it on TV, the Movies, or been exposed to it through some other media. Regardless, you were certainly impressed enough to want to learn more about falconry, and we appreciate your interest.
Very few people realize the demands or lifestyle changes that occur when they decide they want to become a Falconer. Most are not willing to make the changes or sacrifices.
